Meeting with God is similar to a campfire. God invites you to fellowship with Him around His presence that brings light in the darkness and warmth in a cold world. Like a campfire, we need to prepare to meet with God. And we must respect His holiness and power.
Campfire with God
We are so impatient in our society. That impatience can creep into our spiritual lives while we wait upon God to do only what He can do. It's easy to "take over" and run ahead of God. We do things and then ask God to bless it. God will not bless something He has not ordained. Moses experience running ahead of God and the consequences it brought to others.
Running Ahead of God
Problem With Obedience
In this sermon, Pastor Frank Bennett shares the problems that may arise when we decide walk in obedience. People may disown us or blame us because of our decision to follow Christ and obey Him. But don't allow that to discourage you.
Plagues from the Heart
In this message from our Moses series, Pastor Frank Bennett helps us look at the plagues from a different angle. Like Pharaoh, what things are we not letting go that God wants us to release? God does give us warnings as the natural consequences or our sin begin to appear.
Who is Holding You Up?
In this message, our Student Pastor Cameron Gibbs, asks a very important question to our graduating seniors, students, and parents on our Graduate Sunday. "Who is holding you up?" Like Moses, we all need people who can help hold us up when those surprise attacks come out of nowhere.
In this message of our Moses series, Jackson Grant takes us to when Moses received the Ten Commandments. But he brought it home by asking us what commandment is God asking you to obey, to follow? Are there any directives you may be choosing to ignore?
The Big Ten
In this Father's Day message, Pastor Frank Bennett shares lessons learned in our Moses series and applies it to the life of men as fathers and husbands. There are giants standing in the way of leading our families to a life of honoring God. This message will share some insight on how to face those giants.
